Artist's Background

Emma's artistic journey began in Derby University, where she gained her degree in Graphics and illustration, followed by a Master’s in Visual Communication. Since 1997, Emma has flourished as a freelance artist and illustrator, her work taking her from the design studios of Derby to the global stage, through an artist’s agency that shared her illustrations worldwide.

Her transition into a willow artist and sculptor was inspired by a lifelong commitment to environmentalism and a desire to create art that harmonises with nature. This evolution reflects Emma's belief in leading a holistic lifestyle, which she shares with her husband, two amazing daughters and two dogs.
